Photo Contest
MACPS would like to renew last year's photo contest with another New Year Photo Contest! Here is a chance to show off your collection. You don’t need to be a member of MACPS to participate. All types of photos featuring carnivorous plants are welcome, whether it’s from your personal collection, in the wild, or nature interacting with your bog. We want to see it all! The two winning photographs will be announced at our February 15, 2025 meeting. We will also showcase a selection of photographs for everyone to see.
Please submit photos to info@macpsociety.com no later than 11:59 PM on Saturday, February 8, 2025.
Contest Rules
You may submit up to five photographs.
The contest is open to everyone.
The photographs must be taken by you.
The photographs must include at least one carnivorous plant.
By submitting photographs, you are agreeing to have the photographs shown at our February 24, 2024 meeting and on our website. Proper credit to the photographer will be given.
If known, please include info about the species and where it was taken. You may also share the story behind the photograph in a few sentences.
Two winners will be selected to receive either a carnivorous plant or gift certificate. In order to receive your prize, you must provide an address for them to be shipped to you.
