The price will increase to $8 on the day of and at the door! Children under the age of 8 will be free.


Join us for the very first MACPS Plant Show on Saturday, October 11th, from 9AM–5PM at Haverford College in the Field House! Hosted by the Mid-Atlantic Carnivorous Plant Society, this one-day event celebrates the weird and wonderful world of carnivorous plants.





We will be taking over Haverford's Field House and Whitehead Campus Center! Please use the south lot for parking.

Compete in our award show


The Mid-Atlantic Carnivorous Plant Society (MACPS) welcomes all paid members to submit their plants for our inaugural Carnivorous Plant Awards! Whether you are a professional grower or a hobbyist, we encourage you to show off your best beauties and beasties and compete for prizes in a variety of categories! Entries are limited to three plants per category per member. ENTRIES ARE NOW CLOSED (Oct. 1st 2025).



Schedule

Plant check-in:            8:00–10:00

Show viewing:            10:00–4:00

Judging:                      10:30–11:45

Results announced:    12:00–12:15

Plant pick-up:              4:00–6:00
