Ninth MACPS Meeting

12 pm - 5 pm on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Lilypons Water Gardens

6800 Lily Pons Road, Adamstown, MD 21710

Our ninth meeting was held at the beautiful Lilypons Water Gardens near Washington, D.C. We went on a guided tour of the grounds, where we saw their extensive lotus fields and numerous blooming water lilies. We were also lucky enough to see some aquatic turtles and frogs lounging on the lily pads! Joshua Wiegert gave an informative demonstration on how to set up a bog garden. We also continued our tradition of having members present on their carnivorous plant setups to inspire other members. Thank you to Lilypons for hosting, and thank you to Joshua for organizing this meeting!
