Sixth MACPS Meeting
11 am - 5 pm on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Carnivorous Plant Nursery
13763 John Kline Road, Smithsburg, MD 21783
Our sixth meeting brought us back to the Carnivorous Plant Nursery in MD, the site of our inaugural meeting almost two years ago. We heard an informative talk on Sarracenia hybrids from Jay Lechtman, former ICPS president, who also brought numerous Sarracenia for display and auction. Sheila Garl gave a recap of our first field trip to Cranesville Swamp and Big Run Bog for those who weren't able to make it, and we continued our tradition of having several MACPS members present on their own carnivorous plant growing setups. Thank you to Michael Szesze and his Carnivorous Plant Nursery for hosting and providing a delicious lunch!
