Seventeenth Meeting
1-5 pm on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at The Garden Plot
8453 Richmond Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22309

The 17th MACPS meeting was a fun, busy day, full of some MACPS firsts! This was our first meeting in Virginia, our first plant swap, and our first plant show! Attendees were able to learn about repotting carnivorous plants, and they were able to take home their own Venus flytrap, Drosera spatulata, or Pinguicula primuliflora for free. They also learned about both introductory and advanced Nepenthes care from Rick Roberts, who displayed many of his beautiful specimen plants at the meeting. Members brought some incredible plants for judging, including gorgeous Drosophyllum, Darlingtonia, Heliamphora, Drosera binata, and other impeccably-grown plants. Thank you to The Garden Plot for hosting, and to the Carnivorous Plant Nursery for donating plants for the workshop!
