Third MACPS Meeting
11 am - 5 pm on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Princeton University
Frick Chemistry Laboratory, Princeton University, Princeton, NJ 08540
Our third meeting was co-hosted by the Princeton University Botany Club - thank you to them for providing the space and lunch! We had a diverse range of talks, including a presentation on carnivorous plants native to the Tepuis of South America by Alvin Liu and Daniel DiPietro, a technical talk by Marc Kiriou on tissue culture, and a display of postage stamps featuring carnivorous plants. We also had a workshop by Michael Szesze of the Carnivorous Plant Nursery on growing carnivorous plants from seed. We were excited to debut our 10 minute member talks on their own carnivorous plant setups, which we hope provided everyone who attended some more ideas about how to grow their own plants even better. Thanks to everyone for braving the cold weather!
